No goat sacrifices Claire, although a good few thousand rats have 'rested' for the snake gods
So far 7 are out of this clutch, 4 yellow bellies and 3 normals, one of the YB's is super special, infact it may be a worlds first
Photos and details to follow....all I can tell you is the new mutation will be known as the Cyclops Ball (Rad...I told you about it the other day, I was right but keep the details to yourself at the moment ) _________________

you guessed it Dave, although the snake it that pic ISN'T a yellow belly
Luckily this one isn't anywhere as deformed as that, just lacking one eye with no opening where it should of been.
It's certainly not caused by incubation problems and can't be from inbreeding either (USA bought yellow belly to a CF uk imported female). It's just one of those freaky embryo mishaps _________________

I don't know much more about the one in the photo I posted, just that it was produced by RC Reptiles a couple of years ago. Sorry to hear about yours, Scott, though - if it's a girl - there's no reason why you couldn't keep her and breed from her. As you said, it's not likely to be genetic.
The weather in Portugal is 34 degrees with blue skies, no clouds and cold beer on tap. There are times when I wish I was in Wales ...
... This isn't one of them. |
