I did take a few pics yesterday but they didnt come out that good so i deleted them, but i'll take and post some tomorrow.
The Levis are doing great Claire, I'll get some new pics of them up too. Very Happy

I went to take some pics on Saturday of the baby and was shocked to find it missing, couldnt believe my luck and new i'd never see him again being that small. And then today looked in his viv and noticed a little tail sticking out of a piece of wood i put in for him, this hole is so small yet he comes out to feed then spends the rest of the time in this tiny hole, when ive seen him out i havent had the camera with me, i'll catch him sooner or later though. Very Happy

Im just glad i never lost him. Cool

Seems the old adage is the same for reptiles as it is humans ...

Not only are children a blessing in your old age, they help you to reach it faster !!!

Bet you were glad you found him/her.

My male plays hide and seek all the time. Seems he has managed to work his way into the cork background to his viv. Had the viv more or less empty before I realised where he was !!

Great to hear how the mating and then the eggs came on. Congratulations on your hatchling, fingers crossed next time you might have more luck. Did you count the days they incubated for and keep and eye on the temps etc, Ive found it really useful to keep data on my boiga eggs simply because the often do not make it out of the eggs themselves. Now I know how long they take and prepare in the last few days y making a slit as you did.

May I ask what medium you use for incubating? I heard some suggestion that various eggs may actually benefit from the soil they are laid in as it may help break down the egg in time making it easier for the reptile to break out - dont know if this is a possability or not. I suppose it could be given the different ph of soils.
