Agree with H.S. there, pits should be more popular. Maybe the fact that babies can be so feisty puts people off.
Cracking jani Al, congrats on the babies.
You should get over to Hamm this year, meet up with quite a lot of people you haven't seen in years |

Nice one H.S.
Obviously i agree with you there mate
Its really nice when someone falls for the hatchlings and then they see adults, usually leaves them gobsmacked

Hi Stu
Good question mate.
All the ones from my line develop the orange heads and it also spreads onto the nape on some individuals. In some examples it carries on further past the nape and onto the neck area.

Hi Ron
Good point there Ron,although most snakes are aggressive as hatchlings.
Those jani babies are totally the most placid even tempered i ever bred, strange how each gen of c/b's seems to get less aggro as hatchlings.
Compared say to hatchling annectans(which tend to be nutters ) im surprised at just how chilled they are.
Im thinkin i might have to visit the Snake Day my friend.
In all honesty re: Hamm, although id love see lots of old friends and party etc. the show itself is not my idea of fun anymore.I guess i'd go if there was something there i defo needed, but to just look round it was far too crowded last time i went (5years or so)
