For me it is about planning for the future for possible chameleon and Gex eggs. Nothing on a big scale. That's why it's good to hear other peoples experiences b4 committing to opening up the vault and releasing any lager vouchers.
That's another reason why I want to find out what has worked in real terms for other people. Plus it's interesting either way
I have five female chameleons (all of which are quite young, but almost at breeding age) so perhaps potentially not so much small scale. Methinks though it would be best to stagger any breeding and get it right first, like anything do the research first, no rush. The gex are to young to sex yet.
It's a personal thing but for me breeding is a natural extension of this hobby / passion. I know not everybody will breed their reps and that to is cool. Just I find the whole life cycle thing exciting. Have to be realistic though and I do appreciate the extra time, housing needs etc that any breeding will entail (and the expense).

If you all sent me £1000, then I could pretend to be rich
Sounds like a good deal to me, but then again it would!
Something tells me it ain't gonna happen though, I must be psychotic, I mean psychic.

Something to say then say it
I'm not claiming to be rich, i am however just trying to make sure the eggs i get in the future are incubated properly instead of having to make do like i have this year.
There is nothing wrong with making plans for the future, even if they don't come through. _________________ TFA

Nothing will compare with the poly box for cost but whenever I've used the brinsea it's been with a 100% success rate and I really can't fault it. I can't abide the hovabator which is basically a polystyrene piece of crap but the brinsea is superb. |
i have always used home made polly ones and hovabators, i too have had 100% using this method.
guess thats why theres so many different makes really, not all suit everybody. |

I don't know as I am not a snakey man myself. Stuart will know. How big are the eggs and the clutch size? _________________ www.rickslivefood.co.uk

Don't know, I am hoping to breed this winter if my females get big enough. From books i have read and pics on this forum they look big.
I am sure someone will know whether it would be good for one possible to clutches.
thanks

hi
a little of the subject but.... does anybody know where to get the cadbury boxes cheap? i mean at the moment i am looking at up to £4.00 each unvented which is what i want and surely there must be somewhere to get them cheap as they must cost next to nothing to make?
anyways thanks
