Great pics Jezz....he's a beauty I think they're abit like kids that prefer the packaging to the expensive toy you've just bought them lol
One of my baby snows (Pearl) is a feisty little one. Always Ssssing up and rattling her little tail. She's hasn't eaten either since we got her 3 weeks ago.....that's bad enough but 8 months I think I would of being going spare with worry. We're trying another tactic recommended by the breeder tomorrow night, so fingers crossed it'll work.
Pixie is the complete opposite and has shed and is eating really well |

Aww Thankyou (:
she'll feed eventually, they just take a little push in the right direction.
He's a great little shedder, but yep I was sick with worry when he didn't eat for that long, I was determined not to feed live though. He was always really shy of food and you had to leave his food half in and half out of his hide and actually leave the room because he wouldn't eat if he sensed movements in the room
So I tried again two weeks ago and he looked abit interested so i made it move a little, he took it but gave up trying to eat it from the side
So i gently touched his nose with the nose of the rat and hey presto
This week, I barely opened the lid and he took it and coiled which he's never done before and is lookin for more food now. Never known a corn to be this fussy, he gives me more grief than the royals _________________ x.Jessie.x

lol......sounds like he's making up for lost time now!!!! He must of lost quite a bit of weight though?
We didn't see our little normal eat for 2 months. We just had to drop it in his rub, turn out the lights and leave him or he wouldn't take it. He's just started taking food out of his rub now and it's great seeing him actually eat.
I'm sure our little snow will get there eventually. I think half the problem is that she's so stressy, so I'm trying to not handle her too much at the moment, just when I'm replacing her kitchen towel. |

Yeah, shes probs just taking abit of extra time to settle in (:
Nope, I don't know why, maybe its because hes adult, but he never lost an signficant weight.
He was still shedding ( ), really active and still wanted to have a pop at you as soon as you opened his viv _________________ x.Jessie.x

No, he will tolerate it, and won't rattle or hiss but s's up abit. He very active trying to constantly get away and tail whips you. Hes been like that since I've got him. It's a love hate relationship
Which suits me fine, I love him the way he is, and he loves being left alone _________________ x.Jessie.x

Thanks Pamela I'm so pleased with them both.
Unfortunately the one little girl didn't feed again yesterday. The breeder sent us a wax worm tub which we put her in overnight with a pinky. When we looked in this morning the pinky was still there but the back end of the pinky had been completely squashed with blood everywhere. It's about 4 weeks now since she fed. She had had 4 feeds before we got her but nothing with us and we're running out of ideas now. If anyone could suggest something it would really be appreciated. |
