Here's some pics I took this afternoon. Apologies for the poor quality, my brother is the photographer in the family (he took the hatchling pic).
You probably cant tell from the pics but the red stripe has turned into a nice lavender blue stripe and the white triangles are starting to turn blue but are still a paler shade than the stripe.
cheers

Yeah "its" one of my favourite chondros in my collection. Never misses a feed either, which is nice. I wont be sexing this snake for quite a while yet. Its not 1 year old until May but I'll probably leave it closer to 2 years before I probe. I only held two snakes back from this clutch and the second one has hardly changed at all in comparison;
cheers

[quote="Mememe"]And also it's easier for newcomers to class their reptiles as colubrids, boids etc rather than where they like to hang out.
mebbe so, but certain members find it a bit time-consuming ploughing through myriads of entries on jungle/jags,burms,b.c.i's, rainbows, diamonds etc etc, when all they are looking for a threads like this one or one on emeralds.
not that i am anti the species i've described,far from it,but if my time online is limited i want to find articles on the arboreal boids quickly.
as you no doubt guessed i miss the arboreals section.
a beautiful example of young jayapura,and though i like both red and yellow babies,i must confess the yellow ones are really my favourites. _________________ we all have the spark of divinity within us, but are we responsible enough to use it? |
