I know ya know  do you still want a group shot done this way 
that would be interesting to set up with your numbers  bejeeesus if we were to combine all of ours on one mirror , what that be I make it 15 royals on a mirror that rite

Alastair ...the flash is 'on cam ' ya do have to angle the flash/cam , it takes a bit o practice to get it just right , I would think ( need to try it actually ) that you could attach off camera flash to a stand , at a set angle , thus allowing you freedom of movement around subject. For most ppl , say with a Digital Compact , it should be able to be done in the manner described . Just take lots of shots at diff angle of attack . Find one that works / suits ...and hey presto .
BTW ...mind have the mirror clean of fingerprints and heres the best tip I can give ( dont think any has ever done this ) place a HEATMAT under the mirror....keeps snake warm and on same spot ( well for a while anyways !! lol ) and use the snakes OWN hide at start as well .
Go practise ...I wanna see reults from everyone . Scott will give a free morph to the best ....wont ya Scott
