I didnt realise the D40x had 10 megapixels, tht's why i assumed the D80 was the equivalent Embarassed

I thought the d40x had 6.4 mp

...just to add it has diddly squat to do with mega pixels most the time as well..some of nikons finest pro cameras are just over 4mp..

Nikon is over priced for what i need

i can produce nice enough pictures with the 400d

i didnt buy mine it cost me a snake i bred

i wouldnt swap a nikon for a corn snake Razz
