I use the pillow case method, have done for over 10 yrs with no loss or accident.
It only needs to be 10-30 min inside (supervised for all those who think its dangerous) and its worked wonders on mine every time they've had a prob. Be it patchy skin or retained eye caps, they always come out gleaming.
I dont personally agree with using a bath as it has nothing for the snake to lever itself out should it need to. As above human judgement is needed to make sure the snake isn't tiring and not able to keep his head above water.
At the end of the day its each to their own, and we all do what we believe is best as none of us want to deliberatly harm or endanger.
Unfortunatly some people think they know everything and slate those that are open to advise and change. _________________ Life, my most precious possession! |

As advised by the fire department, a wet/damp cloth to breathe through in a smoke filled room reduces the risk of damage to the lungs and increase the chances of survival.
Could they be wrong? _________________ Life, my most precious possession! |

oh dear oh dear, here we go again, the wet pillow case method has been used for years and years by many very knowledgeable people, Lisa has obviously used it for a long time herself without harm.
Come on guys do we always have to slate people when their views are not the same as our own.
Can we not just accept that sometimes there may be different methods to that we are used to ourselves.
Let's make this forum a nice place and not one that everyone is scared to post comments on. People come here looking for advice form many people so they can make their own minds up based on public opinion not to see everyone slate each other. _________________

Ask the same fire department whether they advise doing it in a non emergency. _________________ MORE THAN 2! |

Tell me, how long can a snake stay under water without needing to surface for air and how long can we??? BIG difference _________________
