Buy a dog that likes them
My nan used to have a ridgeback that used to try and cower under the kitchen table on bommy night, she used to let it sleep upstairs and played loud music with all the doorswindows shut with heavy curtains to muffle the noise.
My Dobe will sit there in the back while we are letting them off and watch, only time he is ever on the lead while in the back but he doesn't mind he just sits there and watches, not sure what the huskies gonna be like, its her first year, hopefully the dobe not being fussed will rub off. _________________ MORE THAN 2! |

I just make sure my cats are indoors, other than that, they don't seem to care. I will be attending two displays this year and I would have them in the garden, but the missus isn't keen.
But then, I do have a history with fireworks, so I guess she is right to be concerned.
As for noisy exhausts, I am guilty as charged when it comes to my bike. _________________ 31August2008-Kent Reptile Show (Amphibians & Inverts welcome) for more information & Booking e:mail: mrac@sky.com |

I LOVE fireworks, I enjoy 'making adjustments' to them (like attaching two on the opposite ends of a long string or seeing what they can blow up around the garden ), I must admit I've been lucky never to get burnt and this year I may even just settle for a normal display
As for the animals, the cats are fine, just won't let them out, no idea about the dog yet but being that there's only a few houses where I live I'm guessing I won't hear any fireworks except my own _________________

its not JUST monday night though. just heard the guy directly in front of us is letting them off tonight. the dogs will be nervous wrecks, and i will need to cover the two rabbits, and its three nights in the bloody field for me. there are two houses at the field, i just hope they are not letting them off. its not the horses that panic, its bloody me, the fireworks have got so loud, and that whistle when they take off panics me!!!! the cats dont bother. they just go upstairs and sleep. _________________
