well thats 2 for sambava then...(although the ambilobe thing is niggling as i have seen an ambilobe identical to pic 3.)

Really is getting to me!! i hate not knowing things! lol

Well when I saw Ians cham I thought Ambilobe in him somewhere along the line. But then seeing pictures of him with normal colouration deffo Sambava.

Thing is; chams when in a new home or for no apparent reason at all can change colour and remain that way for months on end and not look like their true locale at all. A couple of mine have done this and I know of other keepers who have experienced the same thing, chams can be most odd at times!

Hard to pinpoint the causative factor as to why long periods of colour change can occur, could well be changes in environment or some form of stress factor? Any ideas anyone? Old age can cause this.

At other times without any apparent changes they can also change colour for months on end, awkward aren't they Laughing
