They are so cute! Went to a shop today to see if they had any royals and they had one there that caught my eye...love those little snouts they are adorable. Are they easy to look after? |

keep much the same as corns.
Make sure feeding on unscented defrost mice.
I had a pair years back that would only eat toad scented mice. Not a problem untill you want to sell them.

they are cool to keep.
If you buy a hatchling, imagine a pencil hissing and flinging itself around, puffing its neck up like a cobra striking wildly in the air. when you pick it up it goes limp confused at what to do for a few seconds, then it leaves something wet on your hand. you make the mistake of smelling it, horrible.
After a while when they realise you are harmless they settle down, but can still have there moments.
a good point is(unless you have the smell of food on you)they dont bite.
so I have read. I had a friend who used to feed a hoggy out of his fingers, one day it started chewing between his fingers, gave up after a while though.

Aww...cuteness...apart from the wet smelly bit :p. Unfortunately the baby I seen wasnt eating so shes out for the mo. |
