what size are the mats and do you think they would keep good temps in a unheated room? Is there space to put polystyrene underneath the mats to push the heat up?
I am thinking of buying one.
thanks
mike

I've just finished setting up a rack from Winracks that I received last Thursday. It contains 2x10 medium Contico boxes, only the top half has anything in it right now (young corns and western hognoses):

I'm very pleased with it.

Heat mats are 6x17 Habistat Heat Srips. It's not the rack really that keeps the temperature, it would depend on the average ambient air temperature of the room, but if temperatures were too cold, perhaps you would consider buying an oil-filled radiator to up the temp by a few degrees.
You could put some thin polystyrene in the gaps.

Tariq.

Ps - Stan that looks great! I need 1 for my medium conticos aswell and that looks very smart!
