Wow - simply stunning snakes. Did you allow the female to incubate the eggs or did you remove them? (just interested. Our female JCP coils round her clutch every year but we remove the eggs. I was just wondering how long maternal incubation would take). _________________ Best wishes, Jackie

I will try and find the link Dan..Hope Steve doesn't mind me answering your question jackie but the eggs were removed and hatched in an incubator.He is on his way to houten now so probably wont be on line again until Monday..  |

Such beautiful animals ! quite envious I love the whole maternal incubation thing, my son has done it for a couple of years with Coastals they make such beautiful mothers, and its so amazing to see how they protect those eggs ! |

Hello,
I picked up my first female Bredl's python on the weekend, she is 50% Henric Afors bloodline and 50% from a wild caught animal (male) siezed at customs.
Can i ask, seeing the size of the two year old female, what you consider to be the minimum age for breeding if fed well? What size/weight do you recommend?
