do you find it hard work keeping such big snakes Dan?
I had albino burmese a few years back, lovely snakes but took up too much space.

I used to Scott but that was because i had ended up with a collection of animals i got because they were there and not because i wanted them, everything became a chore and so it was all hard work. Now i have got just what i want it has made everything easier again and i dont feel under pressure at all. So no i dont find it hard work right now but i think it all comes down to frame of mind, if your head and heart arent in it then it is hard work, because i enjoy it i have no problems.
This new girl is overweight by quite a way but usually they are a lot easier to handle than burms in terms of physics as they are no where near as heavy bodied, they are more active than burms though so need more room/time out to move around and stretch.
I have a stack of 5 vivs on top of each other they are 6 feet long, 3 feet deep and 18 inches high. This new girl has probably got another foot or so to grow before i get her into a bigger viv. The others though fit fine in this size. Although arborial as youngsters they are too heavy as adults and rarely venture off the ground.
I have found it is a fine line between safety and comfort when housing them, too big a viv and they get agressive and because they have more room you have a wider angle of attack to defend. This size viv works great for snakes between around 10 and 20 feet.
