I tell you what I did see the other day that impressed me quite a bit. On a visit to a chameleon breeders house; in the cham vivs he had rolled up some plastic fencing, the stuff with big square holes, into a tube, probably secured together with cut down cable ties. Placed the roll upright in the corner of the viv and entwined fake plants through the square holes. Looked very good and provided a climbing frame for the chams.

We have something similar in Buds home - only the tube is stuffed witha coir type material so it holds humidity but doesn't rot or habour bugs. We have put wooden chopsticks (the cheap throw away ones) through in a couple of places (like hat pins) for added interest. Like the idea of the 'camo netting' backdrop Idea

Great tutorial!
I got cartloads of plastic and silky plants from my local cash and carry. They cost next to nothing: about 70p for a 6ft long ivy garland etc. Must dig out some suckers! Laughing

I also use a local warehouse/cash and carry for my plastic plants.

The selection there is immense and it is soo cheap compared to the eco terra ones Smile Smile

Another good idea is to maybe contact any local florists and ask them if they sell or would consider selling you the offcuts from their silk dispays - lucky fo rme my mate owns a florist so I regularly get bin bags full of offcuts that I then use the floristry tape and wire to make nice garlands and stuff out of them lol

Yes Smile Smile

We use a place called JFT although you have to be in business to apply for a card there.

They are really good in their selection and prices though Smile
