I got my first clutch of auric eggs at the beginning of february but they were infertile. I got my first clutch of fertile aurics eggs in March (babies hatched in May). For some odd reason they (aurics) seem to be laying at two monthly intervals this year (last year it was 6 weekly). To date I've had four baby aurics hatch.

I'm not breeding my Cresteds anymore - giving the females a well earned rest and retirement...lol.

My leachie has produced infertile eggs every two and a bit months since January (3 clutches so far so shouldn't be any/many more to come).

Shame about the leachies Jackie, they would be well cool to hatch, mine are still way too small Sad

What temp did you have the aurics at? (eggs)

79oF but it did fluctuate by the odd degree.

I know I'm really looking forward to breeding leachies. I just hope my new one is a male..lol. How big/old are yours now Scott? Did the chahoua eggs ever hatch?

I have noticed my Auric's have been laying every two months, seems like a long gap in between really.
My eggs are at 80-81 at the moment, i am trying to get some males as i need more males!
I am just waiting for mine to hatch now, the first lot should be hatching in 2 weeks, upto now i have 14 Auric eggs cooking (all my females laid on thursday, including my one crested, so that was a great if not alittle wierd day for me)
