me too alastair. mine always come out fuzzy. and if its a corn you can forget seeing anything more than a blur!!!! pete always gets good pics.

They're stunning, but I agree the g-stripe looks pretty awesome. Great pictures too, as said, I spent nearly an hour one day trying to get a tongue picture from my royal... and the result... CRAP!! Exclamation

im the same anna. or i take loads and loads and dont get one. or i take a pic and the second its taken the tongue appears.

Well i take the pic and there is just a little blur which is ment to be the tongue.

Yep, ditto lots and lots of lovely head shots...but no tongue, I might give it a go with my new camera (if it was the camera that was the problem and not me concentrating so hard i missed the shot Laughing ).

i think the secret is just to keep snapping. eventually one tongue shot is bound to appear. Laughing

thanks for the comments peeps , no real secret as such. deff need to take lots to get '' the shot '' patience in abundance .....take loads of pics ...then a load more .

Stuart started a thread in the photography section ...have a wee looksy there as well.

half decent camera ( dont need DSLR tho )

main tip ......Know your subject , anticipate where its going and what it may do

example ...i NEVER see the tongue shot when I take it thru the viewfinder ...If I did it means Ive missed the shot....anticipate .

deff remember to breathe ......very important Exclamation
