sounds like u had an intresting weekend then, i drove and apart from traffic problems this side it went well untill the sunday morning (in hotel room) when i checked on my animals i brought, found that my leachie had got out of it container and it was around 1.5" long. so after ripin the room apart i finally found the lizard behind the raditor and quickly taped up the container. (what a relief)
lets see what sept has in store for us all then _________________ just a couple of reptiles! to keep me out of trouble! |

Well i know someone had a cheap weekend there.
When we was there last September or december i verbally booked up the Mercure for March, we didnt get any confirmation email so didnt cancel when we decided not to go.
Yesterday i got an email from the Mercure saying i left my room without paying the 195 euro bill for room and mini bar
So whoever stayed at the Mercure under my name....youve got away with it! _________________ www.Reptilebreeder.co.uk

scott, I reckon a phrase book could have helped... particularly to tell the cab driver what to do when he charged 150 quid !! (it could have also come in handy at the station).... was it a good show ?? I'm considering going if the flights are as cheap as that.. _________________ My website isn't quite there yet, as I got bored half way through writing it.

I never moan about taxi fares.
A 16 mile trip is really 32 miles as they have to go back. Diesel is £1.15 odd per litre. The average taxi does 5 miles per litre... The actual profit after expenses from each taxi journey is about 1/3rd of the fare.
+ the drivers have to put up with whinging passengers who show no respect to their £20'000+ cars. (That they have to save up to buy out of that 1/3rd profit margin.)
I think some of you posters think caab drivers do it for a laugh and forget they have to feed their families. (And you'd be stuffed without them!) |

blimmey Scott.
If it helps, i paid for my sister to come along...
Hotel in edinburgh - £45
Coach to show - £150
Megabus return - £20
Train home (we missed the bus home) - £80
If you half all that, thats how much it'd cost for me alone, but wanted some company
I suspected you'd be there Scott but didn't see you
Maybe next time. _________________ Who like's art?
