i should update you on her condition, she was scraping her head off of the rocks etc in her viv last night, which was on because she was shedding, but after having got all the shed skin off she continued, which i thought was strange.
then she started "wriggling" around d as if in pain, i have seen it before prior to an old albino of mine passing, so i thought the worst, fortunately she is still OK this morning, although she wont open her eyes and still scraping her head slightly.
she also has metabolic bone disease... all these things need vet treatment which, at the moment, due to not being at work for some time and not having anything breeding or to sell may have to give her back to the pet store who can afford her vet appointments.
I'm very annoyed that this has happened because she is really a stunning gecko but i just cant afford vets & the shop can... _________________ Reptiles by Erik Paterson

are there no pdsa vets in your area. if you are not in work they will treat your animals for a donation. which can be whatever you can afford. _________________

Eric, make sure your leo has plenty of calcium. I think a vet would just treat your leo with calcium injections.
I just got a leo with the bone disease, eats like a horse but acts and looks like a wonky donkey.
If you can take it back I would mate. _________________ For Scottish Snakes and Reptiles visit http://freewebs.com/glasgowreptile |
