I change every day or second day in some instants.
I also use aquatize. It's a water conditioner made by Exo-Terra, supposedly removes the harmful metals and other nasties from tap water _________________ best of luck in the new season |

I use tap water treated with Repti-Safe, seems to work well.
Slightly different question on the same line now. How often do you change/scrub your snakes water bowls? At the moment I've been not only changing water daily but the bowls as well, disinfecting them and scrubbing them Does everyone else just empty out the water and put fresh and then scrub the bowls say once a week or once a month etc? Just looking to see what everyone else does as standard _________________ www.draco2.co.uk

when i got my first i left her water 2 days and it always had white scum in it, thats why i change it every day and scrub the bowls at same time. my daughter leaves her water for her lizards to stand 24 hours, and as we use the one large container, my snakes water lies for 24 hours too.

Clean water and clean bowls each day for my snakes and cats.....I wouldn't dream of drinking mucky water, and wouldn't treat my pets any differently. _________________ )O( Freyja. /|\
