My female has only been with the male on and off for the last couple of weeks and stopped feeding almost immediately, and she's usually a bucket She's never missed a feed since she's been with me, which is why I thought it was out of character for her. I know they tend to go off food when they are big and gravid. _________________ www.draco2.co.uk

I wouldn't worry Claire if she was a good feeder before this. It is also possible she went into breeding mode right away. You know what Royals are like, any change and they can go off food and especially seeing a new bloke and even getting some lurving. I'm enough to put my Mrs. off the odd meal but don't get any of the lurving bit

She's always been a bucket, even with her dodgy eyes, (several retained eye caps I believe when I got her, seems fine now after 3 sheds) and when in blue, so I'm sure she'll not go long without wanting a smaller meal, I'll give her a small on monday I think. I think my hubby feels the same way
She does seem to be hugging the cool end of the RUB and is partially wrapped around the water bowl, but I'm sure it's far to soon for that kind of thing. I've only caught them locked twice!! I took him out again earlier as they seem to be avoiding each other now, and tis feeding day on monday
Incidentally my little YB male seems to be going for the world record with my banded female, put him in last night to see if he'd take and interest, found them locked this morning, they've been like it all day, unlocked for a while, and now he's at it again!! I had to give her someone to play with he weight is decent, as with the pastel in with the female above she was going nuts!! I had to take hubby in and show him what it was all about _________________ www.draco2.co.uk
