Is that a case of "two good minds think alike" or "fools seldom differ"? I will let you make your own mind up!!!! _________________ Fraser Gilchrist

Single full faecal samples normally cost £35-45 depending on how expensive your vets are ie in London will cost you much more than in the country etc. This will include bacteriology rather than just a crypto screen which would be cheaper say at £12-20. I also suspect you can get better price on multiple samples.
In addition you could consider doing a bulk sample...what I mean by that is put all the geckos from one group in a clean hagan or similar. Wait for many of them to poo. Add a little water to make it moveable and put in a pot labeled group 1 or similar. Not as good but ultimately if there are any crypto in there they'll all be effectively +ve anyway. _________________ For more information on all my herping activities please visit the new website at www.prestigepythons.com |

Washing your hands with soap and water may not kill oocysts but would remove them from your hands fairly effectively with any oils and dirt.
Gloves are also a good idea but can't say I'd personally go that far.
