Thanks Mike I'm not looking forward to building the Royal bator at all, I have calculated that I will need it big enough to take 20 clutches They won't all be big enough to breed next season, but the bator will be ready for the following season, and I'd rather plan ahead. Mind you by the season after that, it may end up being a whole room that gets kitted out
The omly geckos I have currently that need anything a little different are the Gehyra Marginata, and apparently their eggs are incubated dry, so at least I won't have to worry about humidity with those. I agree the basic principles apply whether it's geckos or royals.
I hope you have the same success wth your royals this year by the way, you had a good season last time round Jammy bugger
Piccies might be handy if it's not too much trouble, I think we're going with large bottle fridges for the royals, and I have the Hovabator running right for now by sticking a pulse stat on it, my own fault I should have double checked the wattage etc of the Bator, but it's woking that's the main  _________________ www.draco2.co.uk
