When you get them while they are young and you keep them inside the house for most time you can keep them as household pets. They will always stay a little wild, but that's not a problem when you keep that in mind all the time. In the daytime, they will sleep for the most time. When it's getting dark they become active. They don't bark, don't jump on the couch,... |

They will always do it on the same spot, maybe not the place you were thinking of, but put a cat tray on that spot an problem fixed. If you're lucky they will pick a corner, but most of the time they prefer to do it in the middle of the living room... |

As long as the cat is quicker and makes sure the coon dog doesn't catch it that shouldn't be a problem. You can walk them on a lewd at night, but it takes hours to walk a few hundred meters... They grow the size of a basset hound, but not that heavy. |
