Sorry to hear about your loss. I had a similar experience a few days before New Year, I lost my male Lesser Platty. He was about 10 months old and had been fine, lively etc. He fed on the Sunday and on the Thursday he regurgitated but still seemed ok and lively. On the Saturday morning made a huge mess in his water bowl which smelt like dead fish. We gave him a bath and thoroughly cleaned out the viv, again he was lively. A bit later we checked him and he looked like he was going into shed as he was a bit dull but was still lively and inquisitive, we started weighing all the other snakes and when we got to him he was dead. I was in total shock, just couldn't believe it. All my other snakes have been fine since and I have gone into overdrive checking and rechecking them over and over again. When I have spoken to a couple of people they think he could have had a bad mouse, felt really guilty, and I still do, that I missed something.
