Very laid back cats, seem to get on with everything, even our 16 year old moggie !!!
Very fond of their food, are totally addicted to whiskas 'Temptations'
Royal canin do a breed specific dry food which they love.

I love maine coons - yours are gorgeous. One of neighbours has a new mc kitten (with the biggest tail I have ever seen!!) who tries to play with our cats - he doesn't meow but sort of chirps like a bird - it's like he's talking to me - do they all do that?

Both of ours chirrup all the time, if you talk back to them they will go on for ages.
They are a huge tail with a cat attached.
The only downside to the tail is stray bits of poo sticks to it at times Laughing

You've semi-confirmed my suspicions!! My parents cat is all ginger and semi-longhaired with the most enormous furry bog brush of a tail that you've ever seen....he's very proud of his tail!! Laughing He is also very very large and solid and is just coming up to 12 months old. They've had him from a kitten, and his mum was a short haired tortie, but all along I've thought he had either some Norwegian Forest, or Maine Coon in him. He has never meowed...he just chirrups at everyone and everything. He could be the brother of yours....they look so alike. He also has the most enormous furry feet I've ever seen on a cat!
Very happily, my ginger and white female has just had a (planned) litter of 6 kittens with him, and all except one are long haired. They are 7 weeks old now, and weigh almost a kilo each (huge). We've got 3 boys and 3 girls----two ginger/white long haired males, one short haired all ginger male, one long haired all ginger female (keeping her), one cream/white long haired female (keeping her), and one ginger/white long haired female. I know they aren't pedigrees, but they are are absolutely gorgeous. Very Happy
