just somthing i was thinking about

Both Some snakes seem to need the age to mature, others just size. I go along the lines of if the snake wants to mate it will, if it's mature and capable of producing young it will then go on and lay a clutch of eggs.
I had several females last season that on paper were 'breeders' but failed to lay any eggs (even though they mated), where as I had my female pastel that was not 'text book' for breeding but produced four fertile eggs. _________________

I agree, the person just want to have lots of posts and give out more crap. I also agree with Scott. My concern with younger females is the weight and condition to get through mating and being gravid. These girl to be that weight at that age must be real chunky and carrying ample fat reserve. If they are not mature enough nature I believe will play its part. By the time they could become gravid they will be getting on for 2 years. All I can say is that I personally would put them in for breeding as I think they are at a far better weight than what a lot breed at. I think the real concern comes when someone puts a 1500g, 3 year old in that is a poor feeder and skinny as hell. Yours I'm sure are well conditioned to be carrying that weight. Please keep things posted and all the best whatever you decide.
Kind regards
