Just saw this Laughing Hmmmm.... Staples and glue gun for the worms. Twisted Evil

Ok seriously tho , nail at tail Question ok ok Exclamation Like Wullie said , place em under a hide . As for the heat mat ...hmmm ...they get more active with heat. I prefer to cool them a wee bity ....less mobile .

Think I said on another thread about tripod, well heres another tip , use good depth of field , set up the shot ,fire the camera by remote (if you are able to with model of camera you using )

This way you dont need assistants , you are completely in control .

Wait till ya have a go at multiple group shots ......deffinately need strong drink ( oh and good AUTO focus ,Laughing )

Another wee trick is to use one of these ..

to get this

Practise and at least a 1gb mem card .....happy snapping Wink

Laughing Laughing

I'm good with the Tripod Now, I've got one of them desk lamps, only my one is bigger Smile And I want to get the gadget that attaches to the button on the camera to give me longer arms Smile

Now I just need the Glue Gun, Stapler, and Nail gun, well actually I have all 3, but I think I'll try a flute instead, less painful for the little critters Smile

I've got the spoils of my attempts on my new site Pete, I convinced them to stay still in the end, just meant leaving them in their rubs and taking the lid off at the last second Laughing Newspaper and kitchen roll don't have the same affect though Rolling Eyes

You tried taking them out the cage, placing them on the background of what you want the photo on and then covering them with a blackout out tub? (tighter the better)

Leave the tub over for a few minutes and then get someone to lift it off when you are ready to shoot (you can normally get a few good pics before they shoot off out of frame Laughing )

Finally I got a point!!!! Very Happy Very Happy

There are a few lenses I wouldn't mind adding to my arsonal, but I'll work up to them, would rather add more snakes and geckos and lizards Very Happy I'm very fond of my Fuji Finepix, couldn't get on with the Canon :ducks: Laughing I'll get myself a Digital SLR at some point though, I just couldn't justify the extra wonga last time Wink It also does good video, I'll be adding some to the website at some point, feeding shots etc.

So what are the other toys to have in your arsonal with relation to the camera, I thought I'd better clarify that bit Rolling Eyes Laughing

I'll give that a bash Scott. The Pastel Het Ghost is the worst, playfull little chap, but once you get him out be buggered will he go back in his rub!! Laughing He is definately one of the best characters of them all, and the male het pied isn't far behind. The Spider is still a grumpy little 'poo' Laughing He seems to have a superiority complex Laughing
