Royals have teeth believe me lol
This is the latest bite from my 5 yr old female she always seems to miss despite 12 inch feeding tongs! She only ever bites at feeding time and always my left hand that's holding her tub lid open not the food item, think she's got a very odd sense of direction or my left hand is warmer than the rest of my body lol. _________________ Hognose

Never. Been struck at but I'm just too fast
Only reason I was struck at was 'cause he was scared (and I just wouldn't give in - he was in shed).
Other than that Royals are generally pretty relaxed _________________ x.Jessie.x

Been bitten twice by my baby, only when feeding. Presume my finger looks like a fuzzy! Have now invested in a pair of tongs |

I got nosed by my little spider royal the day after he arrived, I think I put my hend in a bit fast to get his water bowl to give him fresh water and spooked him, he was a little stressed at the time, I think he might just be neurotic Scott obviously wasn't giving him enough valium
I've got 18" tweezers, and believe me with a couple of mine you NEED them, if I'm lucky I get their rat 1/2 way into their box before they are on it, the little het pied female is one of them, at the rate she's going she'll be breeding weight by Christmas day, this year
I have got a couple that hiss a lot, and one that vibrates _________________ www.draco2.co.uk

i've avoided being bitten 3 times so far from my 7 month old royal and to be honest i dont know why!
all the times i had her out with no problems but when i put her back in, she went into her hide, turned around, saw me and struck fast, hard and im guessing without thinking.
another thing is that most nights she half comes out her hides and rests the top of her body on her bit o bog wood ready to strike, other than that she is great!!!
p.s, husbandry good and feeds fine every 6 days... _________________
