In shops you would probably pay around £150-200 quite easily. At shows they are much cheaper.
I like to give them height - say about 3ft high x 3ft wide and 2ft deep, they do love to climb, there isnt really a maximum, make it as large as you want to, just fill it with branches, hides and plants. The only problem with huge vivs is getting the temps right, but it only takes a little extra tweaking. _________________ Cheers Angi

Feet, inches Lets see 177 cm high, 57 deep and 75 wide. Hmm, depends on the size of the Jaya. Bit high, which makes it harder to heat. On its side it would be great, even for an adult pair. So, not too big per se, but not ideal. |

As long as you heat the viv properly it would be fine, make sure the coolest part of the viv can still be heated to 24-25oC and you can maintain a hot spot of 29-32oC.I've been keeping a Jungle in a viv 5ft highx3ft longx3ft wide and he's doing fine. The cheapest way to heat a viv like this would be a Ceramic trough heater, probably a 500w one wired to a pulse stat and then spot light aimed at a branch at the top.Chris Martin reptile supplies sells trough heaters at a very good price .

J,the white thing on the sides the heater,I brought of someone second hand but it was expensive(50 quid).I do a fair bit of tree clearing so I have access to a lot of limbs, some in the viv are cork branches I brought from a shop though. |
