I had a similar prob with my Baby mex's this season, ( no probs at all last season.) I cooled mine for about 6weeks, then warmed them.. All started eating a week after being cooled, and my mate took all of them from me, for a pair of his rainbows... Hope it helps.. |

Not sure how old the female is as I bought her when she looked to be about 2 years old. The male is about 5 now. Yes I will breed from them every other year I hope, they had this year off but am hoping for more babies this coming season. |

Thankyou Lynne that would be brilliant. It has been in the cool for over 4 weeks now and it would be great to warm it up and see it feed. They are such darling snakes, very soft to the touch. Shame that they only have very small clutches, but that makes them all the more special. PLEASE do get back to me with the chaps comments. Oh, and how long does he brummate the adults for ? I tend to give them 3 months or so. Thankyou again
well once i had held her that was it!!! his male is 23 years old, he was his first snake. but he says this will be his last and he will retire him, that if the snake wants retired. lol. will find out for you.

Lynne I am a woman, I knew exactly what you were on about....
Going to move the babe into a warm room today and start the warming up process, then in another couple of days put one end of its box over a heat-mat, another couple of days and offer food.... DO HOPE that I can return it to its owner with it eating well. One of my mice looks to be ready to pop any day so the timing is just right.
