What age is he?
I usually keep them on paper towel until they are about 6".
He will probably go into it when he is shedding, I have a couple that need humid hides and plenty that don't need or use them so I don't bother with them in there unless they are gravid females and they use them for laying boxes instead. _________________ MORE THAN 2! |

he is 3 months. i popped two crickets in last night and he seems to have eaten them as there is no sign today. dusted them before i put them in. so should i move him to kitchen roll? the shop had given me big huge black ones, but they looked too big so i swapped them for smaller brown ones. they seem to have gone. will put few more in later. approx how many should he be getting a day. _________________

I will feed em as many as they will take, I put 5 in at a time, if the 5 go then put another 5 in.
I would stick him on the paper towel for now, babies tend to be over enthusiastic feeders and end up with a gob full of sand/substrate aswell. _________________ MORE THAN 2! |
