I've a few females that are just border line breeders, thought I stood a good chance with them for this season but NO both went off feed a few months back and not shown any interest since Sad Laughing

Scott shame your girls arn't eating if they do get eating again could you not breed them late in season or will it be to late. my girl has eaten twice now really happy with her thanks for your help ill probably make a thread of my own once shes eaten again and i get some nice photos.

hey scott,have you tried multi mammates on the females?ive had females go off the fodder and then tried multi's and boom its all on again Laughing

Not tried them for these girls as they are still in great shape, only really want to use multis as a last resort.

I have a female Royal that would not eat until I tried her on mice. Not in any hurry with her as she is only an '06, but it was worrying me that she refused all the time. Tried her with freshly killed mice and BAM. She also took a multi and then returned happily to mice - but - rats, forget it.

Have I now made a rod for my own back ? When she is adult just how many mice will she need Shocked and will she accept frozen thawed 'cos I will not be able to provide enough adult freshly killed mice.... ? She is called Annie, as in Anorexic...... Wink

i have only one youngster who will eat rat pups. the rest wont look at them. the cinny wont look at rat weaners either, so she is on 2 mice just now (large). im sure they know it gets to us and do it for fun.
