doesn't look like a purple phase in that first pic..i reckon the purple hue in the other pics is more to do with the white balance on the photo.

Just read this.. yep it's obviously a white phase.. I was just saying I really like the Purple Phase, like this little fellow courtesy of Jacobk in the USA:
