Very nice photos...
I still haven't made it to Borneo, but was in Peninsular Malaysia and some of Indonesia earlier this year.
That first pair of frogs on the rock look like Staurois natator.
The frog by the puddle and the last treefrog looks like a female Polypedates leucomystax, while the other two treefrogs look like males. Its interesting to see that there are striped and spotted forms there too.
I thought the toad was Bufo (/Duttaphyrnus?) melanostictus, but I've seen very few photos of Bufo celebensis.
I'll be eagerly awaiting your photos James... |

Ah brings back memories, seems like ages ago we was there but its only 7 months ago, looking forward to seeing the rest of the pics. |
Yes, that was me! I totally forgot that you'd offered, I think my mind was elsewhere in the run up to going away...didn't even get round to booking some of the accommodation until a couple of days before we went! That would have been so useful, i'm kicking meself now

It was a lucky find really - I went on a bridge to take a photo of the river, and as soon as I stepped on it a whole host of lizards scarpered into the surrounding undergrowth - but the Bronchocoela caught my eye because it leaped into a next door tree. Luckily it didn't run any further as I approached!
You were there for 3 months? And herping specifically? Jeeeeez, you must have seen looooooooads of stuff! I have to admit, I was hoping to see an Aeluroscalabotes felinus, but we only went into the forest at night once, so chances were slim to none! _________________ Sophie
