it's one of my custom made ones. 3x3x1.5ft. he loves climbing up and down the log as it's quite tall for him. he makes it look so easy.

Do they not need a large water bowl ? Forgive my ignorance but are they arboreal?...I know a lot of younger monitors can be as to evade predators in the wild but looks like the only way is up in this viv?

hi cselley any chance of some pics of your nile and set up what are you feeding your nile i usually feed mice or chicks and locust tonight he had some ox heart and loved it how do you find yours tempermant mines good early in the morning but once hes been under his heat lamp he gets moody ,not to bad though as long as i let him have freedomwhen handling and not hold him back to much i remember my bosc having serious attitude as a youngster but hes very good now always respecting them for what they are ,i while ago i was very ill with a lot of different symtons but one of them was breathlessness very scary not being able to breath properly but when ever i handled my nile it really did have a calming influence on me to the point were i nearly nodded of very strange as i could go 3days with no sleep even with sleeping tablets but the nile really did calmme down thankfully on the mend now and want to start building a nice big enclosure for the nile also considering getting an argus good luck with your monitors.
