Looking at images on the net you are right Will, like you say those feet dont belong to a goniurosaurus as does the description of the crocs tail but when it was said Madagascan ground gecko i instantly thought of P.Pictus and to me it looked more like goniurosaurus than pictus.
How many of these did you manage to get or was it just the one?

ah well not to worry i found the exact same photo. the gekkota site is a great resource for finding unidentified gecko photos only a little bare in areas with regards to photos of some of the more unusual species.

If I'm not mistaken he had 4 geckos, probably 2 pairs. Sadly I didn't buy any, which I kind of regret. I always like to know a bit about the species before buying them, but if they are so hard to come by, it's still a shame Razz
