Its a Nosy Mitsio Gary, he goes banana yellow with red when fired up. Not that he gets fired up much yet, he is very laid back, and he isnt fully grown yet so still has colour to come Very Happy

Thanks Karen, as a VERY general comment, am I wise to start with a Yemen or similar cham or would a Panther be ok?

I kept a Yemen years back and it died after a year or so and I was gutted.

I then bought two baby nose be panthers that died within 1 week of me getting them (the setup was fine), I believe the babies were sold to me way too young (but how was I to know).

I am now doing a LOT of research and speaking to some very knowledgeable folks. Dont want to make any mistakes.

To be honest Gary, i dont think it makes a difference what kind you get as long as you get it right, they all in my opinion need the same level of care.
Why get something you may not want? just as a starter chamelon as people say.
Yes Panthers differ from Yemens in their environment needs, but they all basically need the same commitment.

Get what you want, do as you are doing gleen every bit of info you can, and do your best Very Happy Hope that helps

Gary they are quite a rare locale so not many of them about i am afraid, even in the states there arnt many. Maybe more in Europe but i dont really dont know Very Happy
