Bit of both i suppose, as you know males fight, and the rostrul crest would give slight protection, chameleons with rostral horns do use them when fighting.
They also i would imagine add to their display when courting the females as does their colouration on both counts  _________________

well most are good and doing well,but last week with the royal mail going tits up food got a bit low,dividing the strong from the week but i have lots of food now,and the weaker ones are in a small viv trying to bulk up
so many to worry about,i am really feeling the pressure.
individual housing is deffo the best option,but with the amount i had it was out of the question,
am thinking of making some kind of rack to house 40 babys till they are 3 month olds but i dont have the time to do this at the moment. _________________ I feed your eyes with chameleon pics!!!! |
