Mike, you're correct, none of my smaller females laid eggs although they did all mate with multiple males.
I am a firm believer of the animal knows best, so the fact they didn't produce even though some were 1500gs told me they knew they weren't ready.
I'd go along with Eggman on the fact that older animals at lower weights will be more likely to breed and lay eggs than younger females at the same weights. _________________

i had a female 2 years ago that was upto size but still young and was mated repeatedly but never took and never laid a thing,12 months later and near enough an identical weight cos she totally went off food after i had attempted to breed her she mated again and went on to produce 5 eggs.age is also important i would say as well as size and weight _________________ www.jamieswordsreptiles.com |

Right, so keeping them together wont be a bad thing anyway? If she wont produce eggs till she is ready.
This is getting silly, i bet shes going to be well confuzed. I just put her into a seperate viv which is only spare for a short while, now that i know i can house them together, it saves me buying another viv (which i couldnt really afford anyway).
Cheers guys
