These are not DWA, a related species P. olfersii is being added to the DWA soon. P. baroni are not dangerously venomous but I would treat them with respect. I have kept these for quite a few years now, they can have a really good feeding response, so obvious precautions are required when feeding. Gloves and long sleeve shirts, as required for Boiga, are good precautions for normal handling. Personally I don't like using hooks with these, mine become quite disturbed when I use hooks.

They are typically very docile snakes and have never seen any signs of aggression.
