maybe a piece of curved/flat cork over the hide or something, like a ledge, to lie on...and hide under also. or a piece of jave wood that is not too steep. Dont think it is too plain, i like it, simple, nice, and easy.

here we go.

it looks cluttered. that isnt too hard to understand in any stretch of my imagination. you want detail? there are too many things in the vivarium.

simpler is ALWAYS better. more to clean, disinfect, more things to go wrong.

i dont mind the critisim and help on what i have asked, as both sides of peoples views are interesting and gives new ideas on lay out of the tank.
i feel after reading the comments that maybe i should remove the grey rock and add a piece of bark/wood over the hide in the cool end . and possibly move the calcium dish to the back wall and that would leave the front og the tank open for leo to roam around. Smile

christophermchale has a point, although it was said in a rather blunt way, there will be more to clean and disinfect, but just think as to wether you mind cleaning it or not? i dont think it "looks cluttered" myself, it gives the gecko more things to hunt around and climb over, which in my opinion keeps the gecko more active than having a small dish in one corner a hide in the other and a waterbowl,id find that boring if that was my bedroom.To be honest, as long as you got the basics your fine, but what is wrong with some aesthetics, i keep cresteds and love to keep naturalistic looking enclosures, but as the numbers grow, and eggs hatch, im going to have to tone things down and follow christophermchale's approach simply due to numbers and time spent cleaning.So its all down really to what you want to do.

I stick by what I said. It doesnt look cluttered to me.. its a relatively big looking tank and there are 5 things that will need to be cleaned.. not what I'd call a massive task Confused

If it was in fact cluttered then I would agree with your point, you'd be making life more difficult for yourself in the long run.. but its not, so you're not! Smile

I would maybe rearrange it, just so it looks nicer but its not needed.
