From what iv'e read lobster roaches breed quicker & mature faster. dont be in too much of a hurry. give them time to get established.

lobsters will eat just about anything that they are offered, I found the Dubia to be a bit picky at first, but now they feed happily on Iams dry dog food, apples, oranges, pears, carrots, parsnip, and pinky mice.

6-8 months at least for 100 lobsters, they are prolific breeders but still take 3-4 months to reach adult size. If you want to start feeding from the colony right way and use them as a staple diet I would start with no less then a 1000.

Adult females will give birth to approx 40 roaches per month.

From baby to adult approx 3 months

Egg carton is fine and is what I use.

Yes I wonder who you got them from Wink

Lobster roaches mature at about 3-4 months old. Females carry young for approximately one month and give live birth to 30-40 babies every month or so. The young are very small, about 3/16 of an inch but grow quickly.

maths isnt my strong point but you can try to work out how many you need and how long it will take to start enough to keep you going .

once you think you have enough you could use the roaches for a week . then go back to what you were using for a week .
