actually ive run out of vermiculate and i only usually have one hide in his tank and it sems to be fine most of the time. i dont think i have a big enough viv for 2 hides its only 24"(L)x12"(D)x15"(H). but i will get a new big viv when i move in both of my leos so they can breed. and ill try and have enough rom to have 2 hides.
i cant wait until she is older _________________ 1 adult leo: Geronimo

Thats plenty of room for two hides, I really would recommend it, I mean there nature is to hide in caves and rocks etc so really you should have a minimum of two places, hot and cold. Thats really a prime requirement rather than an option with leo's.
You dont need any vermiculite for moist hides or even any special substrate, as a desert animal they need very little moisture so just once or twice a week misting a normal cool side hide is fine. _________________ Kind Regards,
