Do you put leaves in or just old fruit and stuff ?
What else do you feed ?

What do you put in the tub ? - I assume you mean the nesting tub? I put in a soil / fertilizer free compost mixture.
how big should the tub be ? - It doesn't have to be big to start with. As the colony grows you will have to increase the size of the nesting area.
Where do you get the ants ? - I have a friend who can get them for me, i may be able to offer some Leafcutters later in the year. Alternatively, most insect suppliers can also source them.
Do you put leaves in or just old fruit and stuff ? Variety is the spice of life. Leaves mostly but also flowers, orange peel, sugar water.
What else do you feed ? See above. _________________ Fraser Gilchrist
