Hmmmm....I'm curious to know why they will only sell reptiles with wooden vivs. Do they make the vivs required to purchase an animal themselves? - if that is the case then there is the answer. It's all about profit rather than the animal's needs.
I have kept Cresteds in a wooden viv and also an exo terra. The wooden viv was great for a couple of years and then the bottom more or less fell out of it due to the nightly spraying. It was a home made viv which had plenty of vents in it - so stagnant air wasn't a problem. Out of the two I definitely feel the exo terra viv is the best option. _________________ Best wishes, Jackie

hey, i use the Exo Terra Terrariums & Flexariums (full mesh) i find, that if you have the correct ambient temp etc, they are a good lightweight, easy to clean piece of kit! humidity is a bit more of a problem for these obviously as it is pretty much and open air enclosure, but the room i keep my Rhacs in is temp and humidity controlled. so providing your room conditions are ok, Flexis r a good cheaper alternitive. at the moment im keeping my females in them to rest them up, its always good to have one about the place should you ever need to temporarily seperate a pair for whatever reason.but as u know, one thing works for someone when it doesnt for someone else! _________________ [3.2.6 R.Ciliatus|1.4.7 R.Auriculatus

Nah i want a couple of females as males dont live together and i dont want premature breeding (as i'd like them from youngish). and even if not young i dont want to have to seperate them every so often to allow the females to put some weight back on etc
Not saying they would never be bred but i'd like more experience first
Jackie they state on the website we do not sell animals to go in glass tanks it does not say (or at least i did not spot it) that you have to buy the wooden viv from them
In an ideal world i wanted to get em from scott was watching his available page all the time but when i eventually got some money (was my birthday) he has sold out and just has the message letting us know an ocasional male may be available but nothing else as yet |

One point of note, there is no guarantee that two females wont fight over territory of feeding when they mature. _________________ Kind Regards,
