I hear what you are saying Scott and I do think that the diet definitely had it's part to play. However, I think the difference is you raise your groups from babies so I would assume they would all be roughly the same size and weight ratio at the same time. This female was put in with a large mature male in a small exo terra viv (the shop bought the viv too), therefore she didn't have anywhere to hide. _________________ Best wishes, Jackie

Hi Jackie,
So basically the animals were very badly set up as well as a bad diet. This is exactly my point about it being nurture rather than nature being to blame.
I do agree that if the female wasn't in with a male then her condition wouldn't possibly of deteriorated as much or as fast as it did but it was still kept inadequately and like I said you have done a fantastic job with her.
With regards to my own, yep overall I do try and keep sizes together but sometimes there is a reasonable weight/size difference but again this isn't a problem if there are enough hides & food etc. _________________
