I have been posting a little already but never really introduced myself. I have been keeping snakes only for the past 6 months, so I am a total snot-nosed newbie....
I live in Florida, and I currently own one corn snake, one Western Hognose, and, latest addition, a royal python. Just like children, I love them all in different ways. The corn because he is so patient and forgiving and never once tried to bite me even though I probably behaved weirdly in the beginning, the hognose (my little hissing pencil) for being such a brave spitfire, and the royal which I barely know yet since she is brand new bec. pythons are just awesome.
I really like this forum because it's sooo big and busy, and so many knowlegeable people come here who are truly fountains of insight and wisdom. I don't know very many people in the "real" world who are into snakes, so it feels good to come here and share experiences and concerns that most other people I know can't relate to. |
