could people list different lizards and whats the worst they could do to you with regards to biting ie nip, draw blood, rip whole hand off etc.

it doesn't matter what lizard just as many as you can name and what damage they can inflict.

just as a point of reference for the future

Excluding crocodilians,alligators,komodos and venomous, some of the larger lizards such as monitors,tegus and iguanas can inflict some nasty bites, scratches, welts, which can sometimes result in stitches. Some monitor lizards are capable of break fingers and shredding flesh. I think some of the skinks(bluetonge,monkey skinks etc) would probably have a painful bite. Geckos would be at the bottom of the list due to their small size.

I'd rather take a bite from a small monitor lizard then from a monkey-tailed skink!!

They might be smaller than most lizards but when they bite it can hurt.
